Rebiun - CRUE

RECOLECTA was founded in 2007, as a result of the collaboration between the Network of Spanish University Libraries (REBIUN), the Spanish Universities Conference of Vice Chancellors (CRUE) and the FECYT.

Since that year, FECYT and CRUE-REBIUN have collaborated closely in supporting the creation of institutional repositories within universities and national R&D centres, guaranteeing that the repositories meet international standards of functional and technological quality that will allow them to communicate with each other and exchange information, and providing services to the community of RECOLECTA repositories.

This collaboration is reflected by the composition of the various working groups coordinated by FECYT, such as the Monitoring Commission to measure the degree of compliance with article 37 of the Science Law or the Evaluation of Repositories Working Group, in which the presence of CRUE-REBIUN is very prominent.
